What are the accepted terms of payment and are they secure?

IDjewels.com accepts the following forms of payment: VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS, and DISCOVER. We do not accept checks or money orders. All credit card purchases are secure. Transactions that involve personal information (like credit card numbers) are performed securely using the latest in 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. During the checkout phase, you can verify that your information was securely "posted" by looking at the URL at the top of your browser: https:// - the "s" means "secure" and that the server is encrypting all data over the connection.

· What are your shipping rates and policies?

IDjewels.com ships to to anywhere in the continental U.S., Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada.

We ship all packages via UPS. For fastest delivery, please choose the Expedited shipping option as you complete the order process.

Note: All orders will be shipped after credit approval and order processing. This process may take 1 to 3 business days, at which time the order will be shipped via standard shipping or expedited (if requested).

As soon as your order is shipped, a confirmation e-mail is sent to you with the shipping date, tracking number, and a direct link to rapidly track your shipment. All items offered for sale on this Website should be available for shipping. However, if an item is out of stock or back ordered, we will notify you by phone or e-mail. Our international customers are always notified of any additional shipping charges from Canada to their international location before we process the order. Further, please note the international customer or recipient is responsible for any customs taxes and/or duties at the time of delivery.

The taxes charged to your credit card will reflect the applicable state and local sales taxes, and will be calculated when your order is shipped.

To be clear, the Internet Tax Freedom Act (ITFA), which was signed into law on October 21, 1998, does not, as some have asserted, preclude sales and use taxes on any and all commerce conducted over the Internet. State and local governments are allowed to impose sales and use taxes on all such electronic sales, provided that the tax (and its rate) are the same as that which would be imposed on the transactions if they were conducted in a more traditional manner, such as over the phone or through mail order.

The ITFA is intended to prevent any jurisdiction from imposing special taxes on Internet transactions, other than such taxes that a jurisdiction already has the ability to impose. The ITFA prevents the imposition of any such taxes through November 1, 2003.

Currently, most e-commerce companies use the same taxation rules used by mail-order companies, which are based on constitutional guidelines for interstate commerce. Generally this means that states can only require companies to collect sales tax in states where they have business operations, and as a result, a company will not collect sales tax in states where they have no business operations.

· How do I get status on an order?

By clicking on the 'Track your order' button located on the navigation bar (top right corner of each page), you will be redirected to a page where you must input your email address and order tracking number which you received during your jewelry purchase phase. Simply enter your order tracking number and click on the submit button. The query will be performed and the status of your order will be displayed. Please be assured we are doing all we can to expedite your order. If you should have any question concerning the status of your order, please contact IDjewels.com's Customer Service Department.

· How do I make changes to an order?

If you have not yet checked out, you can easily change the quantity or size, color, etc., of an item by going to your shopping cart and editing the item you wish to change. If you have already checked out and the order has been placed, you will need to quickly contact IDjewels.com's Customer Service Department by email to request a change to your placed order. Orders cannot be changed if already shipped or pending to be shipped.

· How do I cancel an order?

If an order has been placed and you wish to cancel, please email our Customer Service Department immediately. Orders cannot be cancelled if already shipped or pending to be shipped. A cancellation will involve a restocking and fee of 15%.

If you originally paid by credit card, the credit will appear within 2 billing statements.

Please allow 3-4 weeks from our receipt of your request for the replacement product to ship.

· How do I find out item pricing and availability?

All prices listed on IDjewels.com are in United States Dollar (USD). Item pricing is usually noted directly next to displayed jewelry items. During the checkout process, you will be able to see all individually priced items. Product availability is established during the purchase process and if there should ever be a shortage of product, you will be notified and your account credited in full.

· What is your return policy?

To return an item to IDjewels.com, please follow the following three simple steps to assure quick processing for the item you are returning.

1) Email IDjewels.com's Return Department at returns@idjewels.com and include: your order number, the name of the item, date purchased, and your name and address. Please indicate your preference for an exchange or refund.

2) A customer service representative from the returns department will respond to your email and issue you a return merchandise authorization number. You can expect to receive the RMA number within approximately 24 hours. Please write the RMA number on the packing slip inside your package. Please note that we cannot process returns without an RMA number.

3) Return the unused item to all of its original packaging, and ship it back to us. We recommend that you ship the item insured with delivery confirmation as we cannot offer refunds for packages that become lost or damaged en route. For security reasons, please do not write "jewelry" on the outside of the package.

Once your return is received it will be reviewed by our Quality Assurance Department. You will receive notification regarding your return or exchange within seven days. A refund will be issued as soon as the item is received, reviewed, and cleared. The shipping/handling fee and the 15% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund. However, please note:

i) All unauthorized or improperly packaged returns will be returned to sender. Items that show signs of wear or have been, resized, engraved, altered, or damaged in any way cannot be accepted for return or refund.

ii) Special orders, such as customized and personalized initial necklace jewelry, initial bracelet jewelry, and initial ring jewelry, are NOT refundable as they are often produced individually, or in small quantities.

iii) Please make sure you measure, or have your finger measured prior to placing a ring order. Click here to learn more about how you can find out your proper ring size. Proper ring sizing is the full responsibility of the purchaser and thus, no refund will be issued for wrongly ordered ring sizes.

iv) Gift Wrap Services: Gift wrap services are non-refundable.

v) Refused Packages: ALL SHIPMENTS REQUIRE A SIGNATURE UPON RECEIPT. Please do not place an order with us if you anticipate that you may refuse the package upon delivery. In all cases of refused packages, a 15% restocking fee will be charged and neither shipping nor gift wrap services will be refunded.

· What is your warranty policy?

IDjewels.com has a 1-year manufacturers defect warranty on all non-custom made jewelry. IDjewels.com does not warranty a jewelry item if it has been determined that it was abused either intentionally or unintentionally. For any warranty inquiries, please view our return policy. If any further questions or concerns, please email our Warranty Department at customer_service@idjewels.com.

· Can I get my jewelry sent in a gift box and gift wrapped?

Jewelry items come in standard jewelry boxes and basic protective shipping packaging. However, upgrades can be purchased during the checkout process by simply selecting from the drop-down list what type of box you wish to include. At that point, you will be asked if you wish to include a personal note at no charge or upgrade to an original greeting card ($5.95).
